Wrongful Death
Wrongful Death claims are brought by surviving relatives of a deceased
person against those who caused the death. When a death is the result of
another’s carelessness or misconduct, it is called a "wrongful
death".
The misconduct can range from inattention or
carelessness to an intentional or reckless act. The law provides for the compensation
of the survivors when a wrongful death occurs.
